POSITION:
We’re looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director of Performance Marketing to help us build an amazing online pharmacy in Canada. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to tell Canadians about Pocketpills’ offerings. The candidate should be strategic (100%) + hands-on (100%). You’ll bring expertise in paid ads, conversion rate optimization, email marketing, and search engine optimization. You’re driven by metrics and can pull insights from program data to craft a growth strategy based on the best key opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 10+ years in performance marketing, with a strong focus on e-commerce and healthcare products.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, email marketing tools (e.g., Braze), SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console), and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strategic Expertise: Proven ability to develop and execute successful performance marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with a focus on turning data into actionable insights and ROI improvements.
- Customer-Centric: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to work with various teams within Pocketpills.
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools like Google Optimize or Optimizely.
- Knowledge of influencer marketing or affiliate marketing strategies.
- Loves to learn and grow. You’ve found (and keep looking for) ways to level up your skills in this field, whether through formal education, gaining professional experience, or picking the brains of other marketing professionals.

Responsibilities:
Scale the Performance Marketing:
- Define the vision and strategy for Pocketpills’ performance marketing.
- Develop processes, tools, and templates to deliver performance marketing efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with leadership to set growth and revenue goals.
Campaign Strategy and Execution:
- Develop tailored performance marketing strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Create and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Lead email marketing efforts, including automation, segmentation, and performance tracking.
- Deliver CRO audits and recommendations to optimize marketing funnels.
- Implement and manage SEO strategies to boost organic search performance, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO improvements.
Analytics, Reporting, and Optimization:
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and Mixpanel to track campaign performance.
- Present performance reports to leadership, showcasing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Leverage SEO analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to monitor and improve organic performance metrics.
- Continuously optimize campaigns for improved ROI and conversion rates.
