InvaGen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.: InvaGen Pharmaceuticals is a Cipla subsidiary engaged in the development, manufacture, marketing, and distribution of generic prescription medicines with focus on a range of therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular, anti-infective, CNS, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, and anti-depressants. The company was founded in 2003 and is based in Central Islip and Hauppauge, New York. In October 2020, InvaGen established its project site in Fall River, Massachusetts to support the launch of Cipla’s respiratory business in the United States.
Job Description: Manage various supply functions, including planning, sourcing, delivery, logistics, and return system for InvaGen, while ensuring the availability of required materials for manufacturing and sales by optimizing plant resources. Work on implementing the best-in-class supply chain processes at InvaGen aligned to the overall business objectives of Cipla. Oversee production planning activities to ensure optimal utilization of resources while maximizing committed deliveries. Manage capacities at the plant to ensure on time deliveries to minimize or eliminate backorders for the business.Support procurement planning by preparing and communicating rolling material forecasts. Ensure all reports are published timely for tracking of plant and planning performance. Develop and implement strategies for procurement to ensure the most cost-effective and timely delivery of the materials aligned to the overall business objective. Institutionalize a framework for procurement of material to ensure effective inventory management for the organization. Develop and implement inbound and outbound logistics management procedures to achieve 100% on time in full (OTIF). Develop team to maintain continuous internal risk mitigation of resources. Position requires occasional work during weekends and extended hours. Position requires ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a hard hat, hair net, safety shoes, glasses, lab coat, and other PPE as needed.
Minimum Requirements: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and ten (10) years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Lead Operations & Supply Chain, or a related occupation in the Supply Chain Function. Position requires ten (10) years of experience with the following skills: Multi-department coordination with production or manufacturing, research and development (R&D), quality control (Q.C.), quality assurance (Q.A.), packaging (PKG) development, for new product development and launch; completing activities being handled on SAP, including finishing goods batch postings in SAP, vendor stock availability, purchase orders, SAP BOM’s review, and reconciliation; Supply chain management; logistics; inventory control; stock management; material resource planning (MRP); independent handling of overall operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishments of targets within the quality, time and cost parameters; working knowledge of SAP, yield monitoring and quality control; and ERP package of SAP.

Salary Range: $169,042.00 to $188,701.00 annual base salary per year. The salary range mentioned is an anticipated base salary range for this position. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for benefits and participation in a bonus program based on performance and company results.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
Work Hours/Shift/Remote: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, General Shift. Onsite, no remote work. Some extended hours and/or weekends required as needed.
Travel Required Infrequent/Domestic: Less than 10%.
Physical and Other Job Requirements: Able to lift 15 pounds with or without assistance; Able to frequently stand, bend, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop or crouch, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, feel, talk, write, type, listen and hear; Must be able to work some weekends and extended hours based on as needed and required; Must be willing to work any shift or site as required; Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed (typically less than 20%but frequency may vary based on business needs); Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hat, hair net, safety shoes, glasses, lab coat, and other required gear.
