EDUCATION:
- Bachelors/Undergraduate degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Economics with additional qualification in Management, Business, or Procurement (MBA) preferred.
- Master’s/Graduate Degree Preferred
- ISM CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager)
EXPERIENCE & SKILL SET:
- 10+ years in procurement role (category management, sourcing, operations) with exposure to supply chain management, strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards
- Demonstrated performance working within cross-functional teams, with requisite drive and energy to ensure that a challenging benefits and capability building agenda is successfully delivered
- Proven experience in leading a cohesive team while creating a vision and strategies towards achieving ambitious goals.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the operational, strategic and tactical Procurement of goods and services categories in accordance with Holcim category strategy, as well as applicable policies, procedures and specifications.
- Act as the point of contact between Category Management Global and North America Regional and l and Operations.
- Drive the realization of savings, supply efficiency, quality, and process improvements in country, in line with regional and global strategies.
- Identify saving opportunities and initiate individual projects and initiatives at all operational levels.
- Manage and develop Procurement Managers, Warehouse Managers and Buyers.
- Lead long and short-range regional procurement & warehousing activities to support the Procurement roadmap and business objectives.
- Provide procurement input at the Country, Plant, NA Regional and Business Segment levels to support the operation of the business.
- Represent Head of Procurement in Exco meetings in WCAN
- Attend Global Procurement meetings with Head of Global Procurement
