Title and Summary
Director - Product Manager - Functions
Overview
Cross-Border Services focuses on new payment flows to consumers, including cross-border Person-to-Person (P2P) payments, Business-to-Business (B2B), and Government Disbursements, and Remittances.
Cross -Border Services leads the development and deployment of MasterCard Cross-Border payment products and services to the market and holds direct accountability for the end-to-end customer experience, managing the product life cycle, developing new features, use cases and target segments for the product. This includes dynamic consultation and management of both business and technical facets for Product Management and leading both internal and external partners towards successful execution.
The Director, Product Management – Functions, leads the product management life-cycle for all functional areas across Cross-Border Services. This role will ensure that the requirements of functional stakeholders are captured, prioritized, and delivered. The role will report in the VP – Product Management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the SPOC for all product requirements from legal, compliance, finance, treasury, and operations (functions)
  • Own the product development life cycle for these requirements, including, but not limited to product requirement documentation, stakeholder review and engagement, roadmap oversight, product readiness, and commercialization
  • Bring industry expertise in handling requirements of the functions

All About you;

  • 10+ year of experience in a product management role, preferably in banking, NBFI, or a digital payments organization
  • Deep expertise the product development life-cycle in any of the following: regulatory, compliance, finance, treasury, or operations
  • Understanding of various payment types and schemes
  • Clear understanding of Foreign Exchange dynamics
  • Strong understanding of the Agile product life-cycle
  • Superior communication skills across both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing virtual teams across multiple geographies
