Director, Product Strategy
Overview
We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Director of Product Strategy to lead our product development initiatives and drive the strategic direction of our product offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, market analysis, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable roadmaps to enhance our product portfolio and market position.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies that align with the company’s overall vision and goals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in the industry. Use insights to inform product strategy and development.
- Product Development Oversight: Oversee the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring that products meet market needs and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to ensure strategic goals are integrated across all departments.
- Performance Metrics: Define and analyse key performance indicators to evaluate the success of product strategies and make data-driven decisions for future initiatives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key point of contact for product strategy matters among executive leadership, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations.

An established leader with outstanding management skills and the proven ability to build and inspire teams to achieve objectives.
Excellence in customer need-driven product management and end-to-end product lifecycle management.
Experience in managing development of products with and for financial institutions and schemes. Background in cross border, financial crime, open banking, gateways, value added services or wallets necessary.
A commercial focus that leads to corporate growth through proven experience of business case development, revenue generation and cost control.
A communicator and influencer, with ability to forge strong relationships at all levels.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities to drive alignment across a matrixed organization and teams.
Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to think strategically about complex issues, driving thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to quickly conceptualize and express lines of thinking.
Account-to-account payments experiences desirable.
Industry thought leader with broader payments market background, capable of setting a vision.
