Real Chemistry is looking for a Project Management Director to join our growing team!
21GRAMS, part of Real Chemistry, takes an innovative approach to advertising and focuses on making healthcare more human. Not just in our work, but in the way we conduct business, approach client relationships, and treat each other. It’s a place where people subscribe to the adage, “Be good to each other, but hard on the work.” It’s a place where people are not just in it for the paycheck, but they are there to make a dent in the universe. Does this sound like you?

What you’ll do:

  • Lead with Impact: Oversee a team of Project Managers, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of complex projects on time and within budget. You’ll be the ultimate decision-maker and mentor, elevating team performance to set new benchmarks for excellence.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Build, optimize, and refine world-class processes that push the boundaries of efficiency, maximize resource allocation, and elevate our risk management capabilities. You’ll lead the charge in creating agile, scalable solutions to stay ahead of industry demands.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with Account Leadership, Resource Management, and Finance to engineer operational models that ensure profitability and scalability. You’ll act as a conductor, orchestrating resources and ensuring flawless execution on every front to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Serve as the go-to escalation point for any project-related roadblocks, leveraging your expertise to provide swift, actionable solutions that keep momentum strong and projects moving forward.
  • Master Financial Stewardship: Own and manage project financials with precision. You’ll forecast, budget, and ensure your team hits financial targets while delivering exceptional results that drive profitability for both clients and the business.
  • Innovate and Improve: Analyze project performance, spot emerging trends, and turn insights into groundbreaking improvements that fuel growth and set us apart in the industry. Your drive for continuous improvement will push the boundaries of what’s possible.
  • Align with Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership to ensure your team’s strategies align with broader business objectives. You’ll be at the strategic forefront, ensuring your team delivers not just on projects, but on the company’s vision for the future.

This position is a perfect fit for you if:

  • Our Company values – Best Together, Impact-Obsessed, Excellence Expected, Evolve Always, and Accountability with an “I” – really speak to you.
  • You are adaptable, resilient, and OK with adjusting your scope, responsibilities, and focus as we grow. When things change, so do we. We’re always evolving.
  • You are proactive, driven, and resourceful with strong prioritization skills and a desire to dive into the data.
  • You are a highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines.

What you should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management, with a proven track record in high-impact, fast-moving environments, ideally in marketing/communications or healthcare industries.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, with a sharp focus on mentorship, performance elevation, and operational excellence.
  • 3-6 years of experience managing teams of Project Managers, ensuring best-in-class execution across all project lifecycles.
  • Expertise in client profitability management, scoping, and budgeting, with the agility to adapt to rapidly changing demands.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to forge strong cross-functional relationships across departments like Account Leadership, Resource Management, and Finance.
  • A strategic problem-solver who can break down complex challenges and deliver impact-driven solutions in dynamic environments.
  • Experience with project management tools like Workfront, Salesforce, and OpenAir/NetSuite is a plus.
  • Healthcare marketing experience is highly desirable.

Working with HART: Since the pandemic, we have adapted to how our people told us they want to work. We have offices in cities with many employees and clients – New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Manchester, UK and London, UK – that serve as hubs where and when they need us, and we encourage employees who live less than a 45-minute commute of a Real Chemistry office to go in at least two days per week. Outside of these offices, we have regions, where people work remotely but come together quarterly for collaboration, culture and learning opportunities. We call this our Hybrid and Regional Teams approach. Real Chemistry believes we are best together – and our workplace strategy fosters connection and collaboration in person – but also supports flexibility for our people.
Real Chemistry offers a comprehensive benefit program and perks, including a primary office location near in Moorgate, 25 days holiday, private medical insurance, dental insurance, pension contributions and a five-week sabbatical program. Other perks include health and wellness reimbursements, happy hours, and free healthy snacks to keep you running all day long. Learn more about our great benefits and perks at:
