As a Provincial Sales Director you will be responsible for providing leadership to the field sales team; grow the business by delivering volume objectives on an annual and monthly basis for the region as well as manage the sales execution functions for the region with a focus on KPI delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the ongoing execution of Sales Strategy in the business unit within the region.
- As a member of the Regional Leadership Team, contribute to the broader leadership and strategic development of the region.
- Beat the competition, deliver/exceed the annual plan and be the partner of choice for our customers
- Responsible for business unit T&E and Supplier A&P budgets.
- Train, coach, lead and motivate direct reports to deliver maximum impact in the market
- Lead direct reports effectively by clearly communicating roles and responsibilities, expectations and deliverables
- Maintain high levels of employee engagement and a culture that encompasses the Values of the Company
- Provide on-going and current assessments of the results of plans by channel, key account and individual customer
- Drive engagement and utilization of selling tools and technology to maximize team performance
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7-8 years’ management experience
- 2 + years’ experience as a senior sales/business leader with a proven track record of delivering business results.
- Relevant cross-functional business experience (finance, trade marketing, HR etc.)
- Knowledge of Liquor Board Regulations, market trends and competitive activity within the industry is a distinct asset
- Strong Sales Execution capability ideally with depth in Field Sales, Key Account Management and Customer Management
- Previous experience of working with sophisticated retail customers with a track record of building strong relationships partnering to deliver business results
- An authentic and inspiring leader with a track record of leading large teams and developing talent
- Working knowledge of P&L.
