DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for a Director of Quality to join the team. This position can be based in Scottsdale, AZ or remotely within the U.S. with approximately 25-50% travel. Our Team
Our team drives quality and a quality culture across a $2B portfolio of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage design and construction projects across the U.S. This leader will need to develop and maintain a team of quality professionals as well as systems and procedures that will create an environment where DEPCOM’s quality is industry leading.

WHO YOU ARE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Experience leading Quality teams including inspection test plans, quality control programs, and training programs for quality inspections
  • Prior experience building a Quality program from the ground up from origination to closeout of a site or plant
  • Experience with data collection and reporting (first pass yield, non-conformances per batch, rework cost reporting)
  • Background in manufacturing, construction, engineering or related discipline
  • Experience with contract negotiations around quality control measures
  • Quality control from cradle to grave of contractor or owner furnished equipment
  • Familiar with manufacturing quality standards
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a quality culture and processes that minimize rework and maximize project economics
  • Drive the team’s knowledge and application of Principle Based Management in all the work that we do
  • Establish quality control processes and procedures to monitor all phases of project delivery from bidding & estimating, design, procurement, to construction & commissioning
  • Build a team of subject matter experts regarding engineering, environmental, construction and supply chain quality control
  • Work collaboratively with Supply Chain on continuous improvement around vendor quality programs and logistics
  • Support Supply Chain and Engineering in Factory Acceptance Testing and audits
  • Conduct RCA’s across the value chain when quality expectations are not met
  • Develop companywide points of view on quality control metrics & KPI’s
  • Establish cross departmental collaboration that consistently seeks feedback and identifies areas for improvement
  • Apply the contractual requirements around quality control for each individual project
  • Manage the implementation of preventative actions to address non-conformance
  • Deliver lessons learned to key stakeholders to aid in continuous improvement
