JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Director’s Support for a busy and complex area of DWP Digital you will work with the Senior Leadership Team to provide an efficient and consistent service across the function.

This understanding will help you to anticipate any issues before they arise.
You’ll have responsibility for diary management to make sure that priority meetings and events take place and are aligned to strategic priorities.
You’ll make sure that any member of the Senior Leadership Team you support is fully prepared for planned events i.e. meetings and has all the papers and briefings needed, arranging travel where appropriate and for any urgent unplanned requests; ensuring you have the wider knowledge to provide information at short notice.
You’ll also have responsibility for a Senior Leader’s daily inbox, acting as initial point of contact for all general enquiries and ensuring detailed requests are communicated in a timely manner, building and forming relationships quickly.
You’ll act as secretariat for meetings, taking responsibility for capturing actions and ensuring they are regularly reviewed to a satisfactory conclusion.
