Job Title: Director Sales Support Operations
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Work Location: Midtown Manhattan
Job Schedule: Full time, in-office

SUMMARY:

The Director Sales Support Operations plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales operations. This role leads a team responsible for providing comprehensive support to our client success, account management and business development professionals, enabling them to focus on cultivating client relationships while the sales operations team manages administrative and logistical functions.
This role serves as the primary liaison between the sales team and other departments within the organization, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. This role involves extensive collaboration with third-party vendors and distributors to secure optimal data flow. pricing and logistics for products and services to be sold, shipped and serviced to our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, sales or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales support and customer service.
  • IT MSP experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Sell.
  • Product knowledge for selling Cisco and Microsoft solutions to customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of sales quotes for products and services, ensuring timely delivery to meet service level agreements.
  • Manage the registration of sales deals with relevant manufacturers (such as Cisco, Dell, HP) to maximize discounts and incentives.
  • Lead all activities related to agreement renewals, including vendor subscriptions, by overseeing quoting, pricing, and quote delivery for clients.
  • Facilitate the conversion of successful sales opportunities into (as applicable) sales orders for purchasing, projects for professional services and service agreements
  • Maintain meticulous oversight of sales documentation to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of sales opportunity data within the CRM system (ConnectWise).
  • Generate reports and dashboards to monitor department performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and growth.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for sales meetings and reviews.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and communications to keep the sales team informed and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Provide prompt responses to customer inquiries and offer support for sales-related activities as needed.
  • Conduct training sessions and collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up on tasks within the CRM system (ConnectWise).
  • Work closely with Finance regarding client related billing, credits, and other account administration.
