JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic marketer to serve as a merchant champion serving enterprise segment and partnership audiences as part of the NA Marketing team. This role will provide marketing strategy and execution to deliver revenue contribution opportunities serving enterprise retail and service segments and association partnerships.
The role will work in tandem with Elavon business line managers, sellers and GTM teams to understand business objectives, buyer persona and segment messaging to drive effective campaigns to deepen customer and prospect growth. This position requires a self-starter and results-oriented individual who can quickly and effectively respond to the ever-changing needs of the business and immerse themselves in targeted segments. The ideal candidate is a marketing professional with proven, hands-on experience developing and executing programs and campaigns with a proven track record. The candidate should be a good storyteller that can provide succinct messaging across marketing channels based on audience journeys and needs.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of proven demonstrated, progressive experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing segmentation strategies.
  • Mid-Market to enterprise revenue segment experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of campaign technologies (salesforce, marketing cloud, ABM platforms)
  • Broad experience/understanding of all facets of marketing. B2B marketing and bank and/or payment experience a plus
  • Skill in messaging and value props for a variety of audiences
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to successfully handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligning with our business objectives.
  • Work with product commercialization teams to build segment value proposition and messaging focusing on target audiences and needs.
  • Work closely with sellers and relationship management teams to develop marketing strategy and help to drive new opportunities supporting revenue goals.
  • Ability to gain deep knowledge of segments from a user and seller perspective through market insights, seller collaboration, participation in industry’s relevant engagements/events, customer immersions and from industry association’s research/industry publications.
  • Regularly monitor the industry and competitive environment in determining market and technological trends to drive at richer customer value propositions.
  • Develops and provides sellers with the information, content, and tools that will help sales successfully engage the client throughout the buying process, in collaboration with Product Marketing teams and Brand Communications.
  • Manages project budgets and expenditures within company process
  • Manages legal and compliance approvals for all marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze campaign performance, and make any necessary adjustments; develops campaign/program dashboard monitoring results
  • Work with our events team to ensure that we are positioned as a leader with high-impact segment events engaging with target audiences for prospects and customer.
  • Build relationships with marketing and channel leaders, peers, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Develop marketing strategies to drive opportunities with a ONE Bank approach.
  • Requires knowledge of diverse marketing technologies platforms and channel strategy to optimize campaigns.
