KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 or more years of industry experience in sales and business leadership in asset management
  • Business builder - demonstrated ability to develop new business and products and drive commercial success
  • Self-starter, personable and self- initiated with the ability to motivate and drive a team and to collaborate and connect cross-functionally both regionally and locally within BlackRock
  • Detailed product and market knowledge across capital markets, asset classes, and investment vehicles. Deep relations with decision makers within the Singapore financial intermediary sector.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially savvy, client-focused senior sales manager to join our wealth team in Singapore. This role will be based in Singapore and report to the Director and Head of Singapore Wealth.
The Singapore Wealth team is responsible for the strategy and distribution of BlackRock’s products, including mutual funds, managed accounts, ETFs, customized solutions and others, via a broad set of distributing intermediaries to service retail end-clients across the full wealth spectrum from retail to private banks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a strategy for key intermediary accounts under his/her coverage. Specific activities include client engagement, activating sales campaigns, and driving product co-creation opportunities to grow the overall wealth business in Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Formulate, drive and execute an integrated strategy with intermediary clients in Singapore.
  • Actively enable cross-channel sales opportunities, closely partnering with internal teams, to position a complete set of BlackRock capabilities to clients
  • Form strong relationships within and across the client organisation spanning across the seniority spectrum leverage their influence to drive results
  • Identify how global and local industry trends and macro factors affect our clients and develop innovative client propositions
  • Engage with internal product development stakeholders to develop BlackRock’s investment solution and product offerings for our clients
  • Provide key market intelligence to help guide sales strategy, current product enhancement efforts, as well as new product development initiatives.
  • Identify and execute on new client partnerships. Understand each client’s due diligence process and investment requirements and develop a strategic relationship with relevant gatekeepers and senior management through active coverage
  • Be an accessible senior stakeholder to the team to inspire team members and support the development of talent bench to meet business objectives
