ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Director, Software Development, to join our Shared Services team and contribute to their transformation!
In this role, you will be a change agent and have the opportunity to influence the future of insurance technology. Your solid experience in software security and obsolescence management, and your keen interest in simplifying the ecosystem, will make you a key player in our transformation. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Contribute to the work environment by providing exemplary leadership and coaching to managers and professionals.
- Work in close collaboration with other software development directors in various fields while ensuring that best practices are implemented.
- Develop and implement software security strategies to ensure the protection of information and systems.
- Manage software obsolescence by developing and executing a roadmap for system upgrades and replacements.
- Create an efficient operating model for software development.
- Simplify the software ecosystem by eliminating unnecessary processes and effectively integrating systems and tools.
- Collaborate with other departments to align software development goals with overall corporate objectives.
- Ensure the evolution of DevOps practices in our current software applications and architectures by leveraging forward-thinking methodologies and providing our teams with an efficient working environment.
- Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure the team is fully aligned with business objectives.
- Build strong professional and interpersonal relationships with peers and other key stakeholders to optimize execution and progress.
