Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Strategic Accounts team is responsible for development, expansion and coverage of the largest automotive dealer groups in Canada. Typical credit requirements of such customers are in excess of $150MM.
- Reporting to the AVP & Market Leader, the Director will be a pivotal role who is responsible for executing on TDAF Strategic Accounts’ strategy with the top dealer groups in Western Canada, as well as supporting other RM’s on their largest and complex transactions.
- Given the size of opportunities, the role will work closely with the leadership team at TDAF, including the VP & National Market Leader and VP Credit & Dealer Operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Direct client management and sales responsibility for some of the largest auto dealer group relationships within the business.
- Provide transaction and advisory support for our various deal teams on credit structure, due diligence, and pricing ensuring that deals align with the national strategy for the large dealer groups.
- Maintain database of pricing and structure comparables, acquisition multiples, standardized marketing decks geared toward the consolidators in the industry.
- Assist in completion of legal documentation as appropriate.
- Provide ongoing coaching & education (both informal & formal) to TDAF teams in order to increase knowledge, confidence and awareness of large deals to maximize market growth in each region.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in cash flow lending and understanding of enterprise value-based credit structures.
- Experience and demonstrated ability in business development and relationship management of clients with complex credit needs.
- Results oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- An undergraduate/graduate degree in business / commerce.
- Minimum 3 years experience with cash flow lending transactions, including syndicated deal structuring.
