Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Director, Strategic Planning, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Develop strong working relationships with counterparts in various departments, regions, and business units to conduct analysis that informs strategic recommendations
  • Support deal evaluation and execution for M&A, joint venture, and strategic partnership opportunities
  • Identify new market segments opportunities
  • Source and maintain a pipeline of opportunities that have the potential to extend Compass Group’s capabilities, markets, and/or competitive advantages through partnership or acquisition
  • Develop & implement growth plan for the organization
  • Conduct market research to support the development of market condition based growth strategy
  • Contribute to various elements of the strategic planning cycle, including opportunity identification, goal development, project prioritization, and execution roadmap development
  • Create deliverables to facilitate quarterly governance meetings among the executive leadership team
  • Prepare ad-hoc presentations and analyses for senior leaders

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of prior experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate development.
  • Highly analytical and able to extract meaningful business insights from analysis.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in complex financial modeling, including various valuation methodologies.
  • Strong command of market research techniques to conduct market mapping, market sizing
  • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple work-streams concurrently and produce quality deliverables in compressed timeframes.
  • Able to interact and work with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
