Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant BA or Master’s degree plus 10+ years’ experience in a senior leadership/manager position responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of operational programming related to mental health and substance use, residential care, supportive housing or equivalent. We will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A trauma informed approach is required.
- Criminal record check including the vulnerable sector
- Class 5 Driver’s License, acceptable driving record, reliable vehicle with business insurance
Responsibilities:
- This position requires a high-level leader who is able to function independently and frequently under pressure while leading multiple staff, concurrent projects and deadlines.
- The Director will have an excellent understanding of service operations and management, resource allocation, applicable legislation, staff leadership, advocacy, team building, contract management, culture sensitivity, and service evaluation.
- As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director is involved in operational planning and representing PCRS at Board and community meetings, which may include travel to a various PCRS locations.
