In response to the growing demand both globally and here in Australia for Trustworthy AI Governance and Risk Management Services, we are looking to hire a Director with deep AI experience to lead our national team delivering market leading advice and practical solutions that will make a material impact to our clients, our people and society.
Ideally located in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you will work with potential and existing clients across a wide range of industries and the public sector, to advise, deliver and implement customised Trustworthy AI solutions.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Develop and execute comprehensive product development, sales and delivery strategies for Trustworthy AI (TAI) products and services in alignment with market needs and business goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their specific needs and create detailed and customised TAI proposals to address their specific challenges and provide value
  • Develop and lead teams to ensure that solutions integrate seamlessly with client’s existing AI technical and governance systems
  • Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline that tracks leads from initial contact to closing. Manage and monitor the progress of each opportunity.
  • Oversee the end-to-end TAI engagement delivery process, from initial client onboarding to final deployment
  • Work with cross-functional teams and with external partners, research institutions, and industry experts to leverage expertise and collaborate on TAI delivery
  • Define a clear and compelling vision for TAI solutions, considering emerging regulation and technologies, industry trends and customer demands
  • Develop our people through formal training programmes, on-the-job training and coaching

YOU MAY HAVE ALL OR SOME OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Expertise in AI Governance: Deep experience in AI governance, risk management or related fields, with a proven track record of developing and implementing AI policies and frameworks
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of AI-related regulations, ethical standards and industry best practices
  • Technical Acumen: Proficiency in AI/ML technologies, data science and analytics tools
  • Business Development: Experience identifying business opportunities, developing proposals and driving successful client engagements
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess and mitigate AI risks across the AI lifecycle
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Client Engagement: Experience in client-facing roles, with a history of advising and supporting clients on AI governance and risk management
  • Team Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring teams, with a focus on fostering professional growth and development
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on long-term AI governance goals
  • Project Management: Solid project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, industry leaders and internal teams
