Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or related field required
- Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in personnel, fiscal and resource management required.
- Outpatient healthcare management, health insurance analysis, financial forecasting preferred.
- Strong leadership and strategic mindset required.
- Strong business and financial acumen required.
- Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) required.
- Change management preferred.
- Working Knowledge of Self-Funded Insurance Plan preferred.

Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Director, University Health Services Admin & Finance serves as principal deputy to the Vice Provost for planning, financial, and administrative affairs across all components of the University Health Service (UHS). The position also serves as Director of the self-funded Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). With significant impact on the UHS mission to improve the health and well-being of University of Rochester students and staff, the Director provides leadership in the areas of strategic management, operations management, leadership, and the financial management of a combined budget of over $25 million.
