Description:

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Tertiary qualifications in logistics, distribution, and supply chain field preferred
  • 10-15+ years managerial experience in high volume stock environments and managing multiple distribution channels
  • Demonstrated experience working with third-party logistics providers such as Toll, DHL, Maersk preferred
  • Experience in apparel and accessories preferred
  • Customer service experience for all channels - B2B and B2C
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
  • Understanding of and experience working with advanced technologies such as RFID, GPS tracking, and automated systems such as warehouse automation to enhance logistics operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - solid understanding of key business drivers and ability to add value
  • Experience in analysing and optimizing transportation routes to reduce costs and improve delivery times
  • Strong change leadership experience - able to embrace and accelerate change in a fast-paced environment and pioneer new ideas and approaches
  • Current Australian valid driver’s license, and own vehicle required to travel as required to applicable sites

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager Planning, Supply Chain and Logistics, the Director, Warehouse & Distribution Operations is the Senior Logistics Leader for the ANZ market within the Planning, Supply Chain and Logistics team. This role is responsible for managing and directing all logistics and delivery activities. This role involves the strategic oversight of third-party business partners and ensures that all operations, projects, initiatives, and processes are executed within the required timelines and adhere to established policies, objectives, expectations, and budgets.
Based at our Head Office in the heart of the CBD, located at 388 George Street 2000, this is a full-time hybrid role working from home and in the office weekly.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee distribution operations for all brands and all channels such as Wholesale, Retail, and eCommerce for ANZ
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure operational excellence, holding stakeholders accountable and developing corrective action plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with regional counterparts to ensure efficiency and best practices across the logistics supply chain.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives with service providers to meet annual Green Mission goals.
  • Apply experience and judgment to achieve tactical goals, leveraging creativity to generate alternative solutions.
  • Design and maintain effective processes to improve DC performance, costs, KPIs, and DIFOT.
