Line management and support of the admin teams across Safeguarding Children, Children & Young People Diabetes, Children in Our Care, Vulnerable Children’s Team, Children’s Community Complex Care Needs, Children’s Community Nursing, Children’s Community Learning Disability, Children’s Continence and Paediatric Dietetics. Participate in recruitment and selection of new admin staff.
Lead on the development of administrative processes and policies to support the work of the admin teams across Safeguarding Children, Children & Young People Diabetes, Children in Our Care, Vulnerable Children’s Team, Children’s Community Complex Care Needs, Children’s Community Nursing, Children’s Community Learning Disability, Children’s Continence and Paediatric Dietetics. Participate in recruitment and selection of new admin staff. Identify and advise on areas where the policies/ procedures may need to be reviewed.
This role may be called upon to deal with members of the public regarding difficult, sensitive and emotional situations. Some of the content of the cases could be emotionally difficult for the post holder. Supervision and support will be available.
This role will be required to provide cross cover at times for the Directorate Support Manager in Acute Paediatrics.
