ORR is responsible for monitoring National Highways performance and efficiency in its role as steward of the motorways and major A roads in England.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Directorate Support Manager for the Highways Team, you will manage the work of the team, including projects, finance, procurement, learning and development, high level meetings and risk for a team of 24 people. You will also act in a PA role to the deputy director. The post will involve a mixture of project-based work and administration and will give you exposure to senior colleagues and decision making.
This is an exciting and pivotal time to be joining the Highways Team, during a period of growth. It will give you the opportunity to work within a team that is helping to shape the future of the sector; to work with stakeholders across the industry; and to support the development of our approach for the third road period, starting in 2025.
