Description:

C2 Technologies seeks a Disability Accommodations Specialist to support the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services contract. This position is remote and can be done from anywhere in the United States, with the ability to work 8 hours between 6am – 6pm eastern time.

SUMMARY

The Disability Accommodations Specialist will provide support services to the Disability Accommodation Program (DAP) of a Federal Government agency. The agency is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for employees and applicants. It provides reasonable accommodations for the known physical or mental limitations of otherwise qualified employees and applicants with disabilities, unless it can demonstrate that a particular accommodation would impose an undue hardship on the operation of its programs.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role candidate must possess:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or a foreign national who has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence.
  • Ability to obtain Government clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 – 5 years of experience or equivalent education background in relevant areas.
  • Proficient in administering Equal Employment Law
  • Law focused experiences/background such as; paralegal, employment law background, EEO investigations, case management, employee relations, civil rights, EEO, ADA, Rehabilitation Act
  • Proficient in administering Equal Employment Law
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Customer service focus
  • Analytical mindset
  • Capability to multi-task in a fast-paced office with attention to detail
  • Scheduling and managing appointments
  • Decision-making abilities
  • Ability to create and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in current technology and technical applications including, but not limited to:
  • Microsoft Office Suite applications, including intermediate to advanced experience with Excel, including conditional formatting, statistical interpretation using pivot tables and formulas to create reports. Including intermediate to advance experience creating professional presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Web browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer).
  • ECN applications such as SharePoint, MS Visio, and Adobe applications.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor the reasonable accommodations general email inbox; duties include answering requests and questions using the agency provided templates, regulations, and policy information.
  • Monitor and route reasonable and/or religious accommodations requests to the appropriate EEO specialist.
  • Assist in identifying and procuring products and services utilizing the agency’s central accommodation fund.
  • Assist with drafting, editing, reporting, proofreading, and technical writing functions for the department.
  • Support the Disability Accommodation Program (DAP) needs for technical writing and administrative duties stemming from upcoming reasonable accommodations and religious accommodation policies.
  • Support the MD-715 and Barrier Analysis data pulls which include key information on reasonable, religious, and other Agency program areas.
  • Provide senior management with detailed data reports, evaluated information to be used in executive level briefings, trending data to drive key initiatives and highlight areas to guide policy creation and assist with record keeping.
