Description:
Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Bilingual Disability Calculation Analyst with 2+ years’ experience in accounting, finance, payroll, bookkeeping, benefit payment or related duties in an administrative/clerical role to join our client.
Contract Dates: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rates:
T4: $24.94 per hour
IC: $29.03 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Remote)
Job Responsibilities:
- Long Term Disability claim approvals
- Benefit Adjustments and recovering benefits overpaid
- Financial duties such as stop payments, voids, refund deposits, Garnishments, processing TD1s and calculating employment income offsets on a frequent basis
- Other related tasks
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience with accounting, finance, payroll, bookkeeping, benefit payment or related duties in an administrative/clerical role, however University / College new graduates would also be considered
- Excellent communication skills oral and written in French and English is required. Must be fully bilingual - read/write/speak in French
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook / Office 365
- Insurance claims knowledge or experience
- Nice to have knowledge of medical or insurance terminology
