Disability Support Worker/SIL Worker - Williamstown (VIC)

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, we require you to hold:

• Certificate IV in Disability, Community Service, Aged Care (preferred) or other relevant qualification such as Mental Health
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory or willing to complete)
• National Police Check
• Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate and CPR (preferred)
• NDIS Workers Orientation module (mandatory or willing to complete)
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Fully COVID Vaccinated (Triple vaccinated) with evidence.
• Current full driver’s license

Competencies and Experience:

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING CLIENTS WITH BEHAVIOURS OF CONCERN AND BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PLANS

• Demonstrated proficient english written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and organise your own work /caseload.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
