Description:
Performs basic management, financial and organizational data collection and analysis. Assists in monitoring grant financial and administrative performance and compliance at the state and local level, by way of desk and on-site monitoring. Assists in evaluating documents for compliance, accomplishment and performance measurement. Performs other duties as required. Assists grantees with reporting and grant compliance activities and perform other grant administration functions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree. 0 years. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
DRIVER’S LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
An appropriate and valid driver’s license is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to learn and apply the requirements, policies and procedures of the disaster program. Ability to articulate details of the program in person and via phone an email. Technical ability to understand and interpret documentation for accuracy and completeness. Detail-oriented to accurately complete necessary program reviews and calculations. Ability to build good working relationships with co-workers and persons and communities being assisted by the disaster program. Skilled in multi-tasking, organizing and prioritizing work. Ability to maintain confidentiality of program materials and families’/business’ personal information. Ability to understand project scheduling, budgeting and implementation and measure project progress. Ability to understand technical, professional and business materials. Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet and ability to learn and use other software programs as may be necessary.
