Responsible for accounting activities across the enterprise, whether embedded in BU, in Corp, or FSS.

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Disbursement Analyst located in Makati City, Philippines through August 23, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (Manila Time).

Responsibilities for this position include but not limited to:

  • Handle daily operational requirements such as manual / automatic payments, resolution of business partners’ requests and inquiries among others
  • Coordinate or escalate payment related issues and other non-routine process such as payment rejects, stop payments or payments run errors to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure compliance to and performance of SOX controls related to the disbursement process such as duplicate payment review, day end reconciliation and merge verification process for automatic payment runs, quality review of transactions prior to manual payments.
  • Handle Accounts Reconciliation and ensure full compliance with the FSS Accounts Reconciliation Standards
  • Perform backup role as needed to ensure business continuity and the deliverables of the team are always met
  • Lead or participate in special projects and handle other tasks, as may be assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree major in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology and related courses.
  • Demonstrated experience and background in Finance, Accounting, and/or Audit work
  • Effective communicator and able to build relationships with various stakeholders and teams
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Innovative and has passion for learning digital tools and technologies
  • Experience and knowledge in digital tools and other technology systems is an advantage
