Job Description
We’re on the hunt for a Discovery and Analysis Lead to join our team of innovators in Group functions! Ready to embark on an exciting adventure in the world of process transformation?

Here’s what you’ll be up to in this thrilling role:

• Captaining the Discovery and investigation ship, steering it through the choppy waters of projects and large-scale programmes across all L&G Portfolios
• Being the mastermind behind the Discovery and Analysis Team’s growth, collaborating with our 3rd party partners to ensure our stakeholders are dazzled by the value we bring
• Putting on your thinking cap and helping craft the Discovery & Analysis strategy, then roll up your sleeves to implement it. Think branding, scaling, and toolkit development
• Developing a strong relationship with the Automation Portfolio Lead, ensuring no automation opportunity slips through the cracks during your Discovery missions
• Donning your superhero cape and coordinate the charge on the Discovery & Automation proposition, conquering new process transformation territories across L&G Group and beyond
• Being the guardian of governance, wielding your RAID processes and protect the end-to-end delivery lifecycle
• Channelling your inner Mary Poppins and guiding your team with a spoonful of sugar, following the Group’s policies and the Partnership Agreement to help the business performance go down in the most delightful way
• Being the change you want to see in the world (or at least in our systems), ensuring all business and system changes follow best practices and the correct change process methodology

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

• Extensive knowledge of Office software packages such as MS Office, Business Objects and MS Access
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methods
• Strong Programme delivery background, leading large/complex deliverables.
• Extensive experience of end-to-end project delivery, Experience of working in a programme management role
• PRINCE2 Practitioner and/or APMP (or PQ) or PMI equivalent (Desirable but not essential)
• Agile Foundation Certification or relevant equivalent experience
• Senior leadership experience, in Projects/Programmes and Continuous Improvement
