JOB SUMMARY –

• Responsible to ensure that all pots and utensils are washed and sanitized appropriately. Does sanitation duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous experience in general kitchen area preferred but not necessary.

Minimum skills/abilities:

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must be able to work in dishroom.

• Keeps work areas clean and proper departmental sanitation to assure a safe, sanitary working environment.
• Sweeps, mops, and/or squeegees floors as assigned or needed, utilizing proper warning signs for safety at all times.
• Cleans, sanitizes and scrubs equipment (inside and out) to ensure a sanitary and safe work environment.
• Keeps areas storage/mop closet clean and in order: keeps all cleaning agents out of food production area.
• Empties trash receptacles and cleans trash cans.
• Maintains filling of paper towel holders and soap dispensers within the department.
• Maintains pot machine as directed
• Maintains sanitation standards to include all equipment, floor and trash cans.
