Responsibilities:

This is an excellent opportunity to bring your administrative skills to our Hamilton site where you will ensure the daily flow of work through the department is coordinated and actioned, to enable the distribution targets to be met.

As our Dispatch Administrator, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the daily workflow within Hamilton Dispatch is organized and completed efficiently for warehouses
  • Work with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure efficient processing requirements for order picking.
  • Differentiating types of orders and identifying extraordinary orders.
  • Ensure all queries relating to the distribution of finished goods are dealt with in an effective and timely manner.
  • Ensure all consignments, variations and internal documentation are correctly documented
  • Proactively communicate quality issues, or other situations that impact safety, quality, or productivity to the Warehouse Supervisor or Distribution Manager.
  • Other reasonable duties as directed by your Supervisor / Manager.
  • Attend WPS Production and Ecolab backorder meetings when required.
  • Review the daily planning reports and follow up on anomalies
  • Assist with cycle counts and stock takes when required.
  • Responsible for daily dispatch desk coordination.

Our ideal candidate may have

  • Previous Supply Chain administration experience preferred
  • Freight planning background
  • Proficiency in SAP/ JDE systems or equivalent
  • Good interpersonal skills – a team player
  • Time-management and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to show initiative
