As we continue to grow our team, we are currently looking for experienced Dispatch Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years of dispatcher experience, preferably in a final mile logistics environment.
- Advanced proficiency in (TMS), gained from exposure to varied platforms.
- Prior experience using Route Manager, Acumatica, and/or Samara – preferred.
- Ability to generate and analyze key performance reports within TMS platforms to identify areas for improvement.
- Proven success in training staff on TMS utilization to maximize system functionality.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Superior geographical knowledge of GTA Ontario service area, specifically Downtown route, and map reading skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in computer systems and related software, with a strong aptitude for learning new systems.
- Ability to effectively work with minimal supervision, under tight timelines.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:
The primary function of this position is to manage a team of delivery drivers and support their day-to-day activities through effective communication to ensure optimal product delivery execution. While meeting operational requirements, the Dispatch Supervisor is also responsible to, track KPI’s, and hold their team accountable to maintain high performance and customer service excellence.
Role Responsibilities:Daily, the Delivery Driver completes the following duties:
- Perform regular communication with on-road drivers to address issues/delays.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Use GPS tracking systems and telematics to monitor driver behavior and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Leverage Transportation Management System (TMS) to monitor routes, traffic conditions, and weather forecast to optimize delivery schedules.
- Work closely with the Transportation Router in designing efficient delivery routes that minimize travel time and fuel consumption while maximizing delivery coverage and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to confirm delivery process alignment and that any special delivery requirements are considered in route planning.
- Supervise, coach and performance manage a team of drivers.
- Exhibit company core competencies and reinforce in drivers.
- Collaborate in developing and presenting monthly driver meeting agenda.
- Assist shunting vehicles and scheduling maintenance.
- Complete accident/incident reports, as required.
- Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance record.
- Other dispatch duties as assigned.
