Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As an LTL Freight Dispatcher specializing in cold calling and shipment rating, you will play a vital role in our operations by proactively reaching out to potential clients, establishing relationships, and accurately rating shipments. You will work closely with our sales and logistics teams to ensure that our LTL freight services meet client needs and expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in cold calling and sales, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight shipping processes and rating methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and rating tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Team player with a customer-focused mindset.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
