POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated, skilled, and detail-oriented Afternoon Dispatcher to join our team. The Afternoon Dispatcher will be responsible for managing dispatch operations for our car hauling fleet, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and dispatch vehicles for car hauling routes, ensuring efficient scheduling and routing for the fleet.
  • Communicate with drivers to provide support and resolve any issues that may arise during the shift.
  • Monitor traffic, weather, and route conditions to adjust dispatch operations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs, delivery times, and driver statuses.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize fleet operations and improve efficiency.
  • Provide real-time support to drivers to ensure smooth operations and address challenges promptly.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage correspondence.
  • Assist with daily office operations and support team members as needed.
  • Address inquiries and provide information about services.
  • Work closely with various departments to support special moves for OEM’s
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
    · Assisting with scheduling and communication, with OEM’s, dealers and drivers.
    · Data/Inventory Management
