Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Distribution Analyst, you will drive efficiency in our distribution operations through innovative financial analytics and Power BI reporting. Collaborate with a network of analysts across Europe, contributing to strategic logistics initiatives and ensuring seamless operations. Your expertise will be key in shaping the future of Essity’s logistics!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage freight and market warehousing costing and settlement: Ensure accurate costing and settlement processes within the region.
- Financial reporting and analysis: Handle market warehousing budget reporting, monthly accruals, and regional distribution cost analysis, providing input for financial forecasts and yearly budgets.
- Collaboration with business partners: Work closely with Essity business partner CT-Global on costing and freight invoicing, and act as the key contact for transport companies and their accounting departments regarding payments and invoice queries.
- Monitor and report on transport operations: Maintain tariff templates in the rate-database for Transport Management System (TMS) updates, monitor the effectiveness of the transport plan and carrier performance, and prepare reports and analytics for sourcing events, network reviews, and strategic initiatives.
- KPI reporting: Report on agreed service and cost Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by geography and business unit, as well as service providers (carrier scorecards).
- Root-cause analysis and project support: Perform root-cause analysis on service and cost deviations, propose solutions, and support projects by gathering, analyzing, and processing required logistics data sets to meet cost and sustainability targets.
- Power BI key user: Serve as the key user for Power BI applications in distribution for the region, building and maintaining reports
