JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Distribution Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. This position involves a variety of tasks related to shipping, receiving, and handling materials, requiring both physical stamina and mechanical knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Strong vehicle knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including familiarity with documentation requirements.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate order processing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from lorries, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials.
- Build and assemble pallets for shipping, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment.
- Maintain an organised warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements.
- Perform regular inspections of vehicles and report any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
