Description:

Aurora Traders LLC, a leading company in the wholesale and retail distribution of consumer goods, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Associate to join our team. As a Distribution Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are efficiently and accurately distributed to our customers, supporting the smooth operation of our supply chain.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a distribution, logistics, or warehouse role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, move, and carry items weighing up to [insert weight] lbs and perform tasks that require physical endurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and meet quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Handle the receiving of incoming shipments, verify product quantities, and ensure proper storage. Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure they are dispatched on time.
  • Product Handling: Safely and efficiently handle products, including lifting and moving goods, to ensure they are properly stored and organized within the warehouse.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before shipping, ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet daily and weekly distribution targets, contributing to the overall success of the distribution center.
