EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Five years of experience as a supervisor and in a warehouse/logistics management in a highly regulated environment (medical imaging or pharmaceutical industry are important assets)
  • Bilingualism
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Experience in an autonomous position (has worked under minimal supervision)
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven leadership
  • Multi-tasking experience and ability to prioritize the needs of internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Life truck license
  • Knowledge of GMP and assets
  • Transport certification of dangerous goods (Class 7)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook and Excel)
  • Ability to lift loads up to 23kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation of changes to increase and improve productivity efficiency and accuracy.
  • Handle radioactive and pharmaceutical products in accordance with the current Canadian regulations.
  • Ensure that all products covered by Standard Operating Procedures are handled in accordance with those in a timely manner.
  • Promotes compliance and maintains an excellent understanding of all relevant policies and internal procedures as well as of all regulatory requirements and external guidelines relating thereto.
  • Coordinate the deadlines for all deliveries as well as the movement of products on the dock, particularly regarding the preparation of deliveries.
  • Manage the distribution center inventory and submit on a timely manner the report.
  • Make the distribution center a positive medium, encouraging effective communication at all levels of the organization.
  • Examine and resolve operational problems, for example regarding security and service in collaboration with all the actors concerned.
  • Always ensure proper storage conditions for products, including maintaining VAISALA temperature monitoring system.
  • Adhere to all security procedures and oversee the security management of equipment.
  • Contribute to projects and audits of the distribution center.
  • Adhere to safe work practices.
  • May work overtime to achieve the objective of the service to our customers.
  • Actively participate in putting the values of Lantheus into practice.
  • Take care of other tasks that can be entrusted.
  • In the event of the absence of the distribution center manager, this employee shall be responsible for oversite of all day-to-day operations within the warehouse to complete all tasks and duties as well as communications with customer service and courier service. Shall ask assistance to upper management for any request for administrative decision.
