Description:
SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Manager oversees the operational excellence of a diverse range of warehouse related functions, optimizing shipping processes, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. They lead a team of shipping personnel, maintain effective communication with internal departments and external stakeholders, and monitor outbound orders for shipment via 3rd party freight carriers. They also manage the logistics of local deliveries made by company drivers to meet target delivery dates. This role requires astute leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to optimize building operations for efficiency and tenant satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in shipping and logistics, with managerial or supervisory experience. Previous experience in KPI implementation is preferred.
- Electric pallet Jack and Forklift certification is required.
- Previous experience with ERP and WMS systems.
- Proficient in Google Office Suite (Mail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.).
- Proficient in reporting and analyzing information and data entry management.
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to propose new ways of creating efficiencies and streamlining processes.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask workload in a fast-moving environment.
- Bilingual in English/Chinese is Preferred.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and optimize warehouse workflows and logistics to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain and oversee the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transportation companies, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
- Manage shipping and receiving schedules and resolve any issues that arise.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software to track inventory, orders, and shipments.
- Analyze data to make informed decisions about inventory levels, staffing needs, and operational improvements.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular training to prevent accidents and injuries.
