OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk to join our Fort Worth Distribution Center team. As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a critical role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by accurately processing incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of orders, and maintaining records. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

We have openings for 1st and 2nd shift positions.

  • 1st shift is Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm
  • 2nd shift is Monday-Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing shipments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, inventory management systems).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and Inspect Shipments: Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring that all items match purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately record received items into the inventory system and ensure proper storage and labeling of goods.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of received shipments, including verifying quantities, tracking damages, and documenting discrepancies or returns.
  • Coordination: Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and other departments to resolve any issues related to incoming shipments.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that the receiving area is kept clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse and inventory teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
