Our Distribution Centre located in Ingleburn (Sydney NSW) is recognized globally to be a SMART Logistic platform, embedding some of the most advanced solutions and innovations. It covers 17,500M2 of storage capacity together with efficient and ergonomic equipment like the new fleet of Materials Handling Equipment, and a full Green SITE facility, servicing various industries covering every sector imaginable including mining, hospitals, utilities, data centres and just about everything in-between.
We have an exciting leadership opportunity to run our Distribution Centre and lead a high performing team. This position is a key leadership role to ensure 100% on time delivery of materials from the receiving of goods to internal and external customers. We’re appealing to the team manager with a track record of frontline management and someone who has a safety mind set.
Responsibilities:
You’ll lead the Distribution Centre team and implement sustainable stock movement systems which includes managing inventory stock control within lean principles in line with key organizational performance indicators.
Your specific responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Communicate and drive activities from the strategic plan to ensure improvement targets are met
- Assist in the development of project teams to ensure strategic plan and continuous improvement activities are achieved
- Communication of direction, progress against production plan, initiatives, changes and successes
- Build and maintain working relationships at all levels to ensure harmonious industrial relations
