Milestone seeks a Distribution Channel Manager to manage, support, and develop our key distribution partners in the Americas. As the Distribution Channel Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategic business plans to ensure our distribution partners provide full transactional support to partners within the Milestone Partner Program (MPP) and develop programs through our distributors to fully manage the partners at the Authorized level within the MPP. This person will also be responsible for participating in branch dealer/integrator events and maximizing exposure of Milestone in the branch via marketing material (banners, displays, etc.), vendor day events, and other required programs
The Distribution Channel Manager is a remote position located anywhere in the US. The position will report to our VP, Americas, and will travel approximately 50% of the time.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel management, distribution programs, or partner enablement, preferably in the tech or software industry.
- Global Perspective: Experience working in global markets with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in diverse regions.
- Program Management Skills: Strong ability to lead large-scale programs with a focus on planning, execution, and measurement.
- Strong Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to engage collaborators at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of Milestone’s products and the ability to convey technical information to partners in a digestible way.
- Project Management: Proven track record of balancing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred

Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Design and implement scalable channel programs that support distributors in their go-to-market efforts. This includes defining program goals, measuring success, and driving continuous improvement.
- Partner Enablement: Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored training materials, certification programs, and support resources to empower distributors and ensure they are equipped to sell and service Milestone’s solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to distributor engagement and ongoing support.
- Compliance and Contracts: Ensure distributors adhere to Milestone’s policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements. Oversee the onboarding documentation and partner agreements.
- Performance Management: Monitor distributor programs’ performance and success through metrics, reporting regularly to leadership and recommending adjustments to optimize partner engagement.
- Global Alignment : Ensure alignment of distribution programs with the global channel team, ensuring new programs address the AMS local market needs, cultural differences, and regulatory requirements.
- New Distributor Onboarding: Develop and manage a structured onboarding program to ensure new distributors are quickly and effectively coordinated into Milestone’s ecosystem, including training, enablement, and alignment with our channel strategy.
