THE OPPORTUNITY

Manulife Singapore is seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Communications candidate to lead the communications strategy for our sales force. This role is crucial for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that enhance agent engagement, promote sales enablement, and bolster the overall performance of our distribution network. The ideal candidate will be part of the Distribution Strategy team, which is instrumental in driving Manulife Singapore’s business growth and reinforcing our commitment to the financial wellbeing of our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Success in this role requires a diverse set of professional and technical skills. If you thrive on transforming complex or unengaging information into compelling narratives that captivate a broad audience, this position will be highly rewarding. A fundamental attribute for this role is a strong eagerness to learn and the ability to apply new knowledge consistently.
  • The ideal candidate will possess at least 7-10 years of communications experience, ideally a blend of agency and in-house roles, and hold a relevant university degree. You should have an in-depth understanding of social and digital communication platforms and be equipped with exceptional English writing skills suitable for various media and audiences.
  • A history of leading communication initiatives and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership is also critical.
  • This position will suit you if you are intellectually curious and excel at creative, solution-focused problem solving. You must be adaptable, capable of making decisions swiftly even with incomplete or evolving information.You will be required to establish and maintain a robust network of contacts across different functions and regions. Additionally, experience in managing issues and crisis communication will be invaluable in this role.
