POSITION SUMMARY:

Protenergy Natural Foods Corp, a fully integrated manufacturer of natural food and beverage products has an immediate opening for a Distribution Equipment Operator position at its Richmond Hill facility. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position requires the incumbent to work 12 hours’ continental shifts with the flexibility to work on either day and night shifts.
Shift: Day; 6 months contract

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post secondary or equivalent experience required
  • 2 - 3 years manufacturing related experience
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
  • Fluency in English both oral and written

Responsibilities:

  • Complies with good manufacturing practices
  • Maintains accurate records
  • Supports quality system
  • Maintains communication within production team member ensuring smooth shift transitions, etc.
  • Support technical in maintenance activities
  • Perform weekly maintenance activities
  • Monitors raw materials, supplies to ensure efficient production
  • Determine acceptable quality ranges on packaging
  • Coordinate communication between palletizing and Filler operations
  • Safe and efficient operation of all downstream equipment
  • Knowledge and execution of any downstream job tasks as the business requires
