Job Purpose
This role is a Fixed Term Contract of 12 months.
A Distribution Fulfilment Coordinator collaborates with the Fulfilment Manager to manage daily operations related to physical distribution and provides account management support for self-generated and API-integrated distribution clients. This role entails overseeing the complete lifecycle of theatrical content delivery within our system, ensuring clients are informed throughout the delivery process, and making informed decisions on content delivery methodologies while accurately managing timelines, delivery deadlines, and screening schedules. Establishing and maintaining robust relationships with distributors and clients is critical.
Furthermore, the coordinator will engage with external third parties, including courier logistics specialists and manufacturers. They will also offer support for the operational aspects of the business, being available to assist with replication, booking, and shipping processes as needed.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the daily operations and account management duties for a selection of film distributors and partners of MPS that utilize our API and self-generated systems.
  • Ensuring accurate logging of all incoming and outgoing goods, with data readily available for review as required.
  • Maintain critical relationships with distribution partners, clients, courier logistics companies, and managers to guarantee that all deliveries occur within specified time frames.
  • Ensuring timely booking of couriers for same-day and daily collections while providing feedback to internal teams.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of physical distribution, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and meet the highest quality standards. Optimizing the order creation process to enhance efficiency, including the implementation of quality and process checks to reduce error margins.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensuring that all SOPs, deadlines, and procedures are strictly followed.
  • Proactively escalate issues as necessary, including potential asset losses or problems with collections and/or deliveries.
  • Coordinating with the Distribution team to relay tracking information and confirm collection/receipt details.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the operation of all physical distribution equipment, ensuring equipment is fully operational and having an awareness of repair procedures or escalation points for any issues.
  • Possessing comprehensive knowledge of the operation of all electronic book portals and systems at MPS for distribution.
  • Accurately maintain the billing process on a bi-weekly or monthly basis to ensure all clients are billed in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

Desired Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES:

  • Experience in account management or coordination role
  • Experience within the digital cinema industry
  • A firm understanding of digital cinema industry requirements for delivery and security
  • Experience working in a fast-paced support role with an ever-changing landscape
  • Experience in working within a team
    Experience and understanding of the theatrical slate

Skills and knowledge

  • Understanding of how to use the full Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, word, etc)
  • Written and verbal English to a high level

Understanding of DCI standards
