Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Distribution Operations Project Analyst will support Operations initiatives and projects across Europe. Primary responsibilities will include supporting 3PL / Warehouse execution activities, operational IT changes, operational processes, and inventory analyses. This includes also warehousing activities to consolidate end customer shipments or store goods prior delivery at end customer site with White Glove Services
This position supports our Distribution Operations, across 6 warehouses and 4 3PL locations with a team of more than 150 warehouse operations employees and handling more than 2.6 million lines per year. It supports also currently 2 warehouses operated by White Glove service providers.
They will work closely with / and support the Director of European Transportation for all aspects relative to White Glove services including warehouse / storage activities prior end customer deliveries

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

  • A Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics, Business Administration or a related area or equivalent experience
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Applications (Project, Excel, Access, and Visio). Experience in Business Objects, Cognos, and SQL preferred.
  • Strong ERP/WMS experience - (example - IBS, SAP, Manhattan, Red Prairie or other best in breed).
  • Background of project management with full cycle of responsibilities.
  • Fluent English. French and/or German a plus

Responsibilities:

Quality:

  • Ensure IT projects are delivered with a high standard to avoid any operational issues during implementation.
  • Make recommendations for changes to systems or processes that deliver quality improvements for the operations.

Performance:

  • Ensure 3PL / Warehouse partner performance is monitored and compliant to requirements of our standard performance metrics for Quality, Service and Cost!
  • Ensure 3PL / Warehouse partners are delivering services as agreed for our customers.
  • Ensure daily 3PL / Warehouse operational interfaces are managed appropriately
  • Ensure all IT changes are testing in line with the IT deployment schedule.
  • Monitor inventory – including goods in transit - for anomalies.

Technology:

  • Work as an interface between the IT and Operations team – driving improvement through system change as well as managing the roll out of system changes. Utilize the system to drive competitive advantages throughout Supply Chain Distribution Operations.

Other:

  • Work directly with warehouse management team to develop, test, and implement process changes.
  • Leads and participates in special committees, task groups, projects, and audits.
  • Makes formal/informal presentations and facilitates meetings as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
