DISTRIBUTION SUPPORT EXECUTIVE - LONDON
Are you looking for a rare and exceptional opportunity to join a small yet dynamic team? We are currently seeking a highly motivated Distribution Support Executive who will play a crucial role in providing first-line support to our Revenue Management and Reservations teams. In this role, you will be responsible for addressing and resolving any technical issues related to our connectivity and distribution across various platforms, including brand.com, GDS, and Online Travel Agents (OTA’s). Additionally, you will provide support in ensuring the seamless integration between Opera PMS and our CRS via the Opera OXI interface.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Reservations, Front Office or Revenue Management preferably in a supervisory level.
- Previous experience on Opera PMS
- Understanding of OTA’s distribution channels and technologies preferable
- Knowledge of Siteminder Channel Manager preferable
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity-related issues.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to build rapport and strong professional relationships
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our Revenue Management and Reservations teams, promptly responding to their technical inquiries and resolving any connectivity-related issues.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for the Revenue team, providing guidance on CRS functionality and best practices.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of rate plans and room types in our CRS and Siteminder (Channel Manager).
- Aid in the configuration and rate loading of new rate plans and changes to room types across all distribution channels.
- Conduct regular audits of PPHE distribution systems to ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Investigate and resolve FAILED OXI messages and collaborate with MyOracle Support when necessary.
- Communicate system outages promptly to the hotel and reservations teams.
- Support the implementation and onboarding of new hotels.
- Create and manage user logins within RHG applications, OTAs, and other systems, adhering to the “System Access Workbook” policy.
- Assist in the maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Distribution.
