Intern, Distribution Warehouse – Winnipeg, MB

Responsibilities:

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

The Distribution Warehouse Intern will perform work side by side with the Distribution Supervisor on Day to Day activities. You will help manage the logistics of freight movements and look for opportunities to improve routes.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm
Salary: $20.70/hour
Internship is from as soon as possible until end of August 2025

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Are currently pursuing a post-secondary education (or equivalent) in Business/Administration (Logistics, Supply Chain management or related field)
  • Have previous related warehouse experience (an asset);
  • Are detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated and willing to take initiative;
  • Are not afraid to get acquainted with your team and business partners, quickly building relationships;
  • Experience in food manufacturing (an asset);
  • Can utilize Office suite programs and applications;
  • Have strong time management and organizational skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
