Description:

Unique Opportunity: Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. for the Immunodiagnostics Division (IDD) Thermo Fisher plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and market expansion for our IDD products through effective management and development of Channel partnerships. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong and effective relationships with Channel Partners, driving superior and sustainable sales performance while ensuring alignment within the Specialty Diagnostics Group (SDG) and Thermo Fisher’s business strategy and objectives in Latin America.

Responsibilities:

  • Channel Partner Management:

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new channel partners within the scientific and diagnostic industry, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and target markets.
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing ongoing support, training, and motivation.

Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to assess performance and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Sales Performance:

Work closely with channel partners to develop and implement sales strategies aimed at boosting revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
1. Provide guidance, training, and resources to enhance channel partners’ product knowledge and sales skills.

Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to stay updated and develop strategies.

  • Business Planning:

Collaborate with colleagues from different departments to create and implement detailed channel business plans.
1. Contribute to the development of sales forecasts, budgets, and other financial targets.

Provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and marketing strategies.

  • Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure channel partners adhere to our policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of channel partner activities and sales performance.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on channel performance and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (equivalent experience will also be considered, and an MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience (5 years) in channel management, sales, or business development within the scientific and diagnostic industry.
  • Strong knowledge of distribution channels, partner management, and sales strategies for scientific and diagnostic products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrates a high level of self-motivation and consistently achieves desired outcomes.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office suite.
