As a Distributor Oversight Associate within the Distribution Oversight Team you will be responsible for overseeing the distributor network and ensuring that all distributors operate in compliance with JPMAME company policies, industry regulations, and contractual agreements. This role involves coordination with internal Sales/Client Service and Control teams and relationship management and oversight of an appointed external service provider.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:
- 3+ years of experience in asset management
- Strong understanding of distribution processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, experience using a vendor operated distributor oversight tool would be advantageous
- Experience in distributor oversight.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the due diligence and ongoing oversight process on distributors in line with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. (Due diligence, KPI, due diligence reports, procedures and process)
- Work with the external vendor to ensure initial and ongoing due diligence as well as ongoing performance monitoring/KPI are performed as per agreed risk criteria/frequency.
- Work with internal sales/client service functions to ensure that distributors meet all contractual obligations.
- Create and oversee the distributor due diligence plan.
- Prepare various reports to the Boards and Committees on distribution, including regular assessment of key performance indicators.
- Prepare and present regular reports on distributor performance, compliance, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks within the distribution network.
- Partner with vendor and internal development teams to maintain dashboards and other tools to track and visualize distributor performance.
- Keep abreast of external and regulatory bodies, local and firm-wide distribution standards, and business changes; assessing any potential impact for the firm.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the distribution oversight process, collaborate with internal teams to streamline distributor oversight processes.
