This competition will be used to fill two positions, District Clerk for the Department of Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources, and a Park Clerk position for the Department of Environment and Climate Change.

Conditions of Employment:

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Experience performing administrative and/or clerical duties
  • Experience with Accounts Payable including processing invoices
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the experience to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with experience providing customer service by phone and in person.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) or similar applications
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative
  • Experience handling sensitive material in a confidential and professional manner

Desired:

  • Experience working with SAP or an equivalent financial management software

Duties:
These clerk positions provide clerical/administrative and financial support services which may include duties such as providing customer service to the public, reception, scheduling, processing applications, monitoring budgets, accounts payable and/or accounts receivable, time keeping, creating purchase orders, maintaining inventory and records management, and selling various fish and wildlife licenses and issuing permits.
