Description:

This position is located in Liverpool/Northwest.
We are looking for someone to be a brand ambassador for Wendy’s culture. They must manage the daily operations of their Area to achieve sales, profits and guest satisfaction through high impact leadership and coaching. Your role will be to ensure all the objectives are achieved while operating within all Company guidelines and following ethical business practices.
Key Responsibilities
People Development:
1. Ensures proper staffing levels are achieved whilst considering diversity.
2. Is passionate about building internal talent by developing a strong pipeline.
3. Maintains an ongoing system for the recruitment, recognition and retention of store management.
4. Ensures timely performance feedback through performance management and performance reviews.
5. Provides proper store management training and development using established systems and practices. Achieves certified training store restaurant goals.
6. Develops Managers within the Area to maximize their contributions and future promotability.
Operational Excellence:
1. Plans and conducts working store visits with all levels of store management to ensure the continual improvement of Quality, Service and Cleanliness standards on all day parts, including the monitoring of food product quality.
2. Monitors and ensures total store “Service Excellence” standards are met; implements corrective actions, as required.
3. Looks to find ways to improve performance and efficiency whilst not compromising on standards.
Profitability:
1. Maximizes Profits through hitting budgets and beating last year’s Sales numbers whilst monitoring and controlling food and labour costs.
2. Understands that creating a strong guest experience will be a significant driver to continued sales growth.
3. Analyses all elements of the P&L to see any financial opportunities and action.
4. Will support with national and local store marketing initiatives including new product rollouts.
Health & Food Safety:
1. Ensures all Health and food safety procedures are executed according to Company policies and health regulations; takes corrective actions, as appropriate.
2. Ensures protection of Wendy’s brand and assets through strong Area compliance with Company policies and procedures.
3. Visits and evaluates store performance at specified intervals using Company audit forms; coaches and retrains managers as required.
Other:
1. Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned or required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Multi-Site Management within restaurant business.
  • Proven track record as a District Manager in developing great teams. Loves being an operator and will be hands on when required.
  • Flexibility to work a 45-hour work week. Must be available to work according to the business needs which would include all day parts when necessary.
  • Experience in opening new sites preferred
  • Experience in problem solving preferred
